Things to do in Disneyland and Anaheim

Disneyland is in Anaheim, a separate city in Orange County, not a neighbourhood of Los Angeles, and it is roughly 45 minutes to over an hour by car or organised transfer from Downtown LA depending on traffic; LA Metro does not run to Anaheim.

The resort covers two distinct parks (Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure), sold on dated tickets, and it should never be confused with Universal Studios Hollywood, which sits inside LA itself.

Anaheim also works as a base in its own right, with food tours, shopping outlets, escape rooms and guided day trips back into Los Angeles, all of which involve a road journey subject to traffic rather than a fixed transfer time.
