Things to do in Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills is a residential district built around wide, tree-lined streets of large private houses, and that is the main thing to see: the setting itself, not a checklist of sights. Almost none of the properties can be entered, so a visit means driving or being driven past facades, either independently or on an organised vehicle tour of roughly 1-2 hours.
The area is not well served by public transport, so a rental car or rideshare is the realistic way to get around, and it sits about 20-40 minutes from Hollywood or Downtown LA depending on traffic. High-end shopping streets add a second reason to stop. Summers are dry and warm, winters wetter, and spring mornings near the coast can turn grey before clearing.
